We are recruiting for an international organisation whose UK head office is based in Thorpe, nr Egham Surrey and they are seeking a Finance Administrator to join their growing finance team.

Salary up to £23,000

Summary

This important role ensures that the day to day activities governing the financial administration of the company are fully controlled and reconciled to the highest standards. The position deals primarily with the banking and revenue activities

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure cash banked is reconciled for all stores
  • Ensure that payments received via card & e-payments are reconciled
  • Raise and follow up any issues with operational management
  • Prepare and issue regular reports to operational management
  • Ensure that financial processes and systems are in place for new stores
  • Ensure that stores maintain adequate levels of processing materials
  • Handle month end close procedure
  • Continually improve processes
  • Other ad hoc duties

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience working within a Finance Administration function in a similar capacity, ideally in an operationally multi-site environment
  • Proven ability to process high volumes with high accuracy
  • Highly competent user of MS Excel
  • You must also be an outgoing, friendly and sociable individual who enjoys liaising with a wide range of people and enjoys having lots of responsibility
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Hands on approach to support the team during periods of high volume
  • Help create and promote a positive and supportive environment within the team
  • Willingness and ability to pick up ad-hoc tasks as directed by the team management
