We're looking for an experienced and motivated Showroom Manager to join one of the UK's fastest growing online retailers.

The role of the Retail Manager is to oversee the retail team across all channels, ensuring we maximise B2C and B2B sales and profitability whilst delivering an exceptional customer service. This position requires the individual to take ownership of this function, monitor the retail team activities and aid in the development and drive for improvements.

  • Manage and drive B2C retail, maximising the sales and profitability delivered in line with agreed targets
  • Manage and drive inbound B2B retail, maximising the sales and profitability delivered in line with agreed targets
  • Manage and drive the Retail Team to ensure they deliver the defined B2C and B2B retail customer experience and service; KPIs; and are experts on our products
  • Oversee all retail related data, systems and processes, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance at all times
  • Manage and constantly review all processes, policies and systems required for the Retail Team suggesting and implementing improvements
  • Develop and manage the accurate forecasting and reporting of B2C and B2B retail against quantitative and qualitative KPIs, driving out key insights and recommendations to ensure our targets are met
  • Manage the Retail Team recruitment, onboarding and training/ skills development in line with our performance management framework. Ensuring the team are able to undertake their roles to the best of their abilities and addressing under-performance if necessary

  • Delivering a turnover in excess of £5m within a customer-focused retail environment
  • 2+ years of expertise in the Retail field with demonstrated success in delivering on sales and profit targets
  • 2+ years of expertise in the Customer Experience & Service field with demonstrated success in leading teams to deliver best-in-class customer experience
  • Solid understanding of Customer Support Operations
  • Led a highly successful team within a similar pure-play or multi-channel retailer
  • Analytical and numerate with budget and P&L management experience
  • Effective measurement and evaluation that enables sound decision-making and planning on a strategic and tactical level
  • Experience managing projects and driving metrics
  • Experience in implementing effective processes and delivering projects independently
  • Experienced people manager, able to lead, motivate and inspire others at all levels to deliver against demanding objectives
  • Experience working with Magento, CRM systems (Salesforce) and ERP systems (desirable)
  • Industry experience in an e-commerce (retail desirable) company
