The role is primarily providing Client driven support within operational groups across all of Markets Operations, driven from a relationship management perspective. Successful candidate will support Middle Office, Settlements, FX Operations and Collateral, as business requires.Key Responsibilities:• Delivery of operational solutions to benefit the client relationship for key platinum/priority clients of the firm, focusing on operational efficiencies and enhanced client experience across Operations• Analysis of Citi performance at a client level, in order to improve performance, address manual actions and improve delivery at a client level• Partner with Senior Operational Relationship Managers to engage with clients on opportunities for improvement, driving change in the line groups.• Own and drive client focussed initiatives across Operations• Identify and lead delivery of automation and innovation solutions that will improve the Client Experience.• Monitor Citi's operational performance against Client expectations with a focus on continuous improvement and remediation.• Understand Citi's inventory of Client-facing technology and available vendor solutions, in order to articulate this to clients and to deliver a measurable competitive advantage for Citi versus our peers.• Preparation of client/Internal meeting decks and minutes • Presentation of analysis to senior stakeholdersQualifications Knowledge/Experience:• Proactive, self-starter with passion for delivering excellence in client service.• Able to understand and work across the diverse perspectives of a global set of clients, colleagues and stakeholders• Ability to prioritise competing requests in a pressurised client facing environment.• Strong analytical ability to conduct root-cause analysis and drive remediation of client issues from this • Excellent communication skills, with ability to tailor communications to a senior client operational audience.• Ability to drive positive changes forward, including through indirect influence across functions and groups at all levels.• Experience from a Middle Office or Operations environment desirable but not essential. • Ability to quickly gain and articulate a detailed understanding of trade lifecycle and operational processes relevant to clients.• Understanding of derivatives and cash securities operations and administration across financial institutions desirable but not essential. • Knowledge of market conventions, operational risk, and rules surrounding derivatives trading execution, confirmation, margining and settlement desirable but not essential.• Proficient PC skills including Excel and Microsoft packages• Excellent PowerPoint skillsExceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.Valuing Diversity:Demonstrates an appreciation of a diverse workforce.
