Business Development RepresentativeLocationUK-Eton/WindsorOverviewAs a member of the Market Development team, responsibilities will include all activities related to lead qualification of InterSystems products. Market Development services prospects derived from direct InterSystems outbound marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries. Selling activities, involve prospecting, qualifying, educating, rapport building, persuading and nurturing. This is achieved through the most expedient, effective, and cost-efficient mediums, primarily using on-line written and verbal communication, but also support for industry trade events and InterSystems seminars.Prospects are typically CEOs and CTOs and decision makers and influencers of those who develop or commission the development of applications, or purchase of healthcare solutions. The post-holder must be capable of listening carefully to the needs of the potential customer, rapidly organise their thoughts and arguments, while remaining professional, empathetic, and keen to develop the business relationship into a fully qualified marketing lead.ResponsibilitiesMake first contact, and nurture a prospect relationships into a marketing qualified lead.Represent the values of InterSystems by being the professional first point-of-contact during the initial qualification process, and thereafter if where appropriate act as a secondary contact for the account. Work closely with the appropriate Sales team throughout the processes for campaign creation and execution, and especially lead qualification.Use the Corporate process-based methods effectively to qualify prospects to fully document all prospects, and ensure full and proper handover to Sales at the earliest appropriate time. Ensure InterSystems' products and services are described and positioned accurately and fully.Ensure relevant contact requests are fulfilled, e.g. send them information or inform them of on-line resources, ensure appropriate colleagues follow-up.Use the marketing automation process for contacts to self-qualify, and help improve and tailor the process to meet campaign needs.
