A new opportunity has arisen with a bold, global Pharmaceutical company that provide a specialist product in Neurology and Urology. They are seeking an individual with a tenacious and outgoing personality to join a well-established team of 7 as a Product Specialist on an initial 12 month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for driving sales growth and marketing strategies across South Central and South West England.
Essential RequirementsYou will have experience of hospital selling in the Pharmaceutical industry, ideally working with a high cost or Neurology products.Strong understanding of Market Access.ABPI Qualification is required.Able to understand the clinical and scientific aspects of Neurological conditions.Comfortable discussing scientific data and clinical techniques with senior Clinicians and colleagues.Educated to degree level in a science or business-related discipline.Strong customer-focused interpersonal skillsCurrent UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Role ResponsibilitiesAchieve/ exceed sales targets annually in line with agreed goals and objectives into the assigned territory.Develop a strategy which manages budget effectively and appropriately in order to drive and demonstrate a high level ROI.Drive and monitor sales through centrally generated sales reports and local account knowledge. Aligns territory activities to regional marketing strategy by defining and execute a territory plan.Create, implement and update key account plan as required.Deliver required call coverage and frequency on different customer types.Deliver agreed target for number of days in field in line with goals and objectives.Deliver agreed numbers of customer educational meetings.Inform Healthcare Professionals all technical characteristics, clinical use, price and prescription condition of assigned products.Maximise time spent with the customer by correct monthly and daily call planning.Constantly appraise the business plan and activity for improvement.Deliver territory strategy through varied and appropriate mediums.Work with Customer Team Unit to support territory business.Maintain and develop regional Key Opinion Leaders to secure advocacy for products.
