We are seeking an experienced, talented and driven Internal Communications Executive to join a professional body, which is also a membership organisation and an International publisher. You will work alongside an Internal Communications Manager to deliver strategy and ensure the smooth running of the Internal Communications function.

You will be responsible for:
• Handling the planning and delivery of Internal Communications' campaigns for major projects
• Constructing and delivering effective messaging, using a variety of channels, providing hands-on support to stakeholders.
• Devise creative and novel campaigns to increase employees' engagement around strategy, mission and values
• Act as editor for all internal communications' channels (intranet, monthly newsletter)
• Plan and manage a range of events in line with organisational priorities
• Fully evaluate all internal communications activities
• Support the overall communications strategy, reflecting key messages.

You will require:
• Degree in a communications or equivalent experience
• Demonstrate a knowledge of internal communications, devising and delivering strategic Internal Communications campaigns.
• Evidence of developing and delivering an internal communications strategy for a range of audiences, levels and geographies.
• Utilising varied channels and measuring the impact of initiatives on engagement.
• Knowledge and experience of strategic and tactical communications planning
• Outstanding project management skills.
• Highly organised and deadline driven, delivering to tight deadlines, managing conflicting requests and priorities.
• Exemplary verbal, written communications and creative skills through a range of media.
• Proactive, with excellent problem solving skills, critical judgement, resilience and composure under pressure, with a positive can-do attitude.
• A desire to promote and enable the positive impact of chemistry and science generally on social, political, and economic issues.
