We have a vacancy for a Marketing Executive to join our Clinical Service Business Development Team in based in Chorley!

As the Marketing Executive, you will be part of a marketing team that is driving and supporting Business Development growth for the Clinical Services group.

You will be accountable for ensuring the tactical and timely delivery of the Clinical Services multi-channel marketing plan across the globe.

The role will entail responsibility for digital marketing responsibility, including website updates, social media content creation and creating marketing materials.

You will contribute to key operational functions including marketing budget and purchasing processes, pipeline and digital reporting, marketing document control and liaising with marketing agencies and other third-party suppliers.

As our creative guru, you will take ownership of creating and executing campaigns and lead and coordinate our exhibition activities and provide marketing support to the Business Development Team.

  • Support the Head of Marketing in the day to day tactical delivery of the Marketing strategy, within the context of MESM's Commercial strategy.
  • Digital marketing activity including website updates, create and post social media content, plus email marketing, within a content marketing strategy.
  • Marketing operational functions including marketing budget and purchasing processes, pipeline and digital reporting, marketing document control.
  • Create and edit marketing materials.
  • Liaise with marketing agencies and other 3rd party suppliers.
  • Provide marketing support to the Account Management and Business Development teams.
  • Co-ordinate exhibition activities, plus internal and external events.
  • Create, execute, monitor and report on campaigns to drive inbound marketing.

Person profile:
  • Degree or equivalent, ideally in marketing, business or life sciences
  • Minimum 3 years B-2-B marketing experience, ideally in services and/or BioPharma environment
  • A proven track record of marketing execution to time and budget
  • Experience in building campaigns through email marketing platforms
  • Demonstrable website CMS capabilities
  • Experienced in PPC/SEO campaigns, analysis and adaptation
  • Experience in building marketing lead campaigns through CRM systems
  • CIM or Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing accreditation would be advantageous
  • Previous experience using Umbraco, WordPress, Mailchimp & Adobe Creative Suite are advantageous
