Compliance Officer - Pharmaceutical Quality, Technical & Compliance

This is a full time, permanent post based in Basildon

Reporting to the Quality Operations Manager, you will collate & review pharmaceutical product files, assist in the quality management of all our products and packaging lines.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the generation and maintenance of procedural and controlled documentation.
  • Responsible for the maintaining the logs of existing Technical Agreements.
  • Support and agree resolution on technical and quality issues relating to the production and testing.
  • Collating paperwork to support manufacturing, packing and QC documentation checking and reviews prior to the certification and release of the product.
  • Generate information for the Pharmaceutical Quality System review within the guidelines of the Quality system.
  • Complete reviews or assigned tasks in relation to Pharmaceutical Quality Systems: Sampling, Sending out samples for testing, Change Control, Deviations, CAPA, Complaints, Quality and Technical Agreements (QTAs), Master Product Specifications, Master Material Specifications, Temperature mapping and or excursions, Stability programme (stability index cards) Risk Assessments and Validation

Our ideal applicant will be a interested in developing a career in quality and compliance management. Some experience of working within a Pharmaceutical environment is essential.
  • Strong academic grades in Biology, Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • IT literate in Microsoft Packages, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice.
