Student Hut is looking for someone to manage and grow a small but growing team and define and lead on the sales strategy across our 3 go to market propositions:

+ market research with our student panel
+ brand engagement opportunities (travel, fashion, media companies, finance companies already as brands)
+ lead generation

What is the role?

We are looking for a Sales Manager to come and join the Student Hut team based in Brighton.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing the sales strategy, revenues and client relationships for the Student Hut products for our agency and brand clients.

Reporting into our Head of Sales you will lead, develop and grow the Student Hut sales team. We are looking for someone who enjoys leading by doing; hitting personal sales targets, mentoring and training the team and ensuring team targets are hit.

The role involves presenting the Student Hut propositions to brands and agencies so you'll need to be skilled in pitching on the phone as well as face to face. Revenue generation is a key part of this role and the Sales Manager will be well versed in BANT or CHAMP sales techniques to help identify, progress and close opportunities.

+ has experience in sales management
+ has experience of working with media buying agencies and brands
+ has experience of selling media/advertising
+ budget and P&L experience desirable
+ is a natural leader
+ enjoys pitching businesses
+ can effectively meet targets both personal and team
