A well-established full-service firm of solicitors with an excellent reputation is looking for a Practice Operations Manager. The firm has offices throughout Teesside, County Durham and North Yorkshire. The business employs around 70 fee earners and around 160 people in total based across 9 offices. This is an opportunity to work in a progressive practice, amongst some of the region's leading lawyers.

You will work mainly out of the firm's Middlesbrough Head office and will be expected to occasionally travel between the firm's offices. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Practice Operations Manager contributes to the development and implementation of business strategies, policies and practices.

The Practice Operations Manager, a newly created role, will support the firm in achieving its targets in line with the business plan. You will have responsibility for and manage HR, Marketing and Communications, IT and properties rolling your sleeves up where necessary.

You will be able to demonstrate a strong client service ethos and have outstanding interpersonal and communications skills. You will have strong management experience, organisational and delegation abilities, be a good team builder and be confident when working with strong minded professionals and fixed deadlines. You will also be able to formulate strategy, improve and harmonise processes, systems and structures, focus on the drivers of profitability, compliance and quality and be confident with IT and a wide variety of professional service providers.

The successful applicant will have professional services experience though this is not essential.

The role commands a competitive salary (negotiable for exceptional candidates) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a first class working environment

The head office located in the centre of Middlesbrough. Approximately 10 minutes walk from the train station.
