Becoming a Goods In / Stores Administrator with Capita Workplace Technology:

We are looking for a hardworking and efficient Goods In/Stores Administrator, who can work as part of the Service Department team, under the guidance and supervision of the Warehouse Manager.

What you will do:
  • Main responsibilities will be to manage stock levels within the warehouse, order stock from suppliers, receiving goods in both physically and using the CBS system
  • Creating / Processing purchase orders on the CBS system
  • Contacting suppliers for delivery dates, communicating delays to the relevant people and updating CBS
  • Manage stock queries, levels and issues, and undertaking regular stock takes
  • Creation of new parts and consumables on the CBS system
  • Regular updating of cost and stock code changes
  • Managing the use of the engineers drop points, ensuring the information is up to date and any problems are addressed.
  • Assist the warehouse manager on regular stock reviews, cost management, car and site stock audits.
  • Attend training sessions where required to complete required skill set
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of goods
  • Assisting with queries / bookings and tracking of our daily shipments via our couriers

Your experience will include:
  • You will have experience of working in distribution, specifically stock control and purchase ordering
  • Experience of working in and delivering excellent Customer Service
  • Able to efficiently use Microsoft Office programmes, such as Excel
  • Working knowledge and experience of using the CBS system
  • You need to be a good team player, who will be able to fit into a small supportive team, whilst being self-confident and enthusiastic with a can do attitude to every day challenges
  • You need to have good attention to detail, be meticulous and efficient
  • Good problem solving and problem analysis skills
  • Ability to follow processes and procedure accurately
  • Have excellent numeracy, literacy and organisational skills
