Profile
This role is responsible for the support of internal applications that are used extensively by the business. This is a key role within the business, and it focuses on the commercial and customer facing applications.
Responsibilities
* The Internal Applications Support Technician is responsible for owning, managing, and resolving all support issues relating to the internal applications.
* Assist with the continuous improvement of the internal applications.
* Required to deliver training on application functionality.
* Respond to support cases within a timely and professional manner, using all forms of communication.
* Test new functionality and new version releases.
* The day-to-day tasks will be varied, so flexibility is essential.
* Undertake any other ad-hoc duties, which are deemed necessary to assist with the needs of the company, as required.
Skills & Experience
* Ideally two years' experience using or supporting an ERP software application - NetSuite is preferred, but not essential, as training can be provided.
* A strong commitment to customer service, with the ability to effectively manage many support cases concurrently.
* A keen interest of IT applications and an enthusiasm to continue to learn in this area.
* Keen to root-cause issues, and to work with third party providers.
* To be able to communicate and develop relationships with employees and external partners, using all methods of communication.
* Accuracy and attention to detail are both essential skills for this role.
* Willing to offer creative and effective solutions, while always considering business needs.
* Experience of the value and importance of thorough testing and investigation.
