SQL Server Developer

There is an exciting opportunity for a hard working and dedicated SQL Server Developer to join a leading educational institution based local to Norwich, Norfolk. You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and developing core business systems. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.45am-5pm, however you will need to be flexible given the nature of the role.

Duties of the SQL Server Developer:

• You will develop, maintain and support the in-house developed SQL Server-based systems
• Responsible for providing high quality third line technical support for the business systems
• Analyse requirements and develop SSRS reports and SSIS processes
• Provide support and service to all members of staff
• Build and maintain relationships with system suppliers to ensure best value

Experience required for the SQL Server Developer:

• Certification in SQL Server 2008R2 / 2012/2016
• Knowledge of SQL Server 2012/2016
• Working knowledge of SSRS and SSIS
• Excellent T-SQL development skills
• Excellent customer service and good communication skills
• You must be able to work well in a team and also on your own initiative
