Main Responsibilities

The position of lead engineer is a key function of the engineering team, the lead engineer will report directly to the Engineering Manager and have a responsibility as a subject matter expert to deliver engineering work scope to the wider operations and tendering teams.
In general, the lead engineer will provide a level of maturity and experience to lead projects or work packages and champion the upskilling and professional development of others in their specific area(s) of expertise.
• Diving Operations
• Sea Fastening & Deck Layouts
• Quality/Document management processes & procedures
• ROV Operations
• Vessel selection processes

In addition to the above the Lead engineer will;
• Be the point of contact and specialist matter expert for offshore diving operations
• Be responsible for developing and maintaining engineering process for dive operations, including but not limited to diver excursion calculations and gas usage calculations
• Be a point of contact and specialist matter expert for offshore ROV operations
• Be responsible for developing and maintaining engineering process for ROV operations
• Keep up to date with any changes to statutory regulations or industry best practice associated with engineering & operations in the offshore dive/ROV industry
IMCA, Diving/ROV ACOPs, DNV

The lead engineers, as a collective, will also serve to cover the Engineering Manager during times of absence.
