Our small but growing company needs a reliable, organised Finance Assistant to manage the day-to-day administrative and financial aspects of running the business. The successful applicant will have a positive attitude, a desire to work as efficiently as possible, and excellent communication skills. If you have worked in a fast-paced office in the past and you enjoy establishing your own organisational systems, we're excited to talk with you. We're looking for someone who can operate effectively with little or no supervision and who can manage multiple tasks at once without becoming overwhelmed.You will be working directly with the Group Financial Controller and Managing Director. Duties and responsibilities (not limited to) are as follows:Maintaining filing systemsRetrieving documents and files when requestedReading, scanning incoming mails and routing e-mailsCollecting monthly Payroll details from x 4 venues, getting them ready for Payroll departmentDaily Cash Flow updateReconciling Purchase invoices to Purchase orders and delivery notesProcessing Purchase and Sales invoices on Sage50 SystemProcessing Credit Cards, Expenses and Debit Card transactions on Sage50 systemSupplier Ledgers reconciliationAssisting fortnightly and monthly payment runsBank reconciliationAssisting Managing Director with daily tasksHead Office Ad-hoc dutiesGood communication skills, both written and verbalHigh attention to detailGood organisational, planning, problem-solving and analytical skillsSensitivity to the confidential nature of financial At least 2 years of experience required, training will be provided
