Salary: 18k

Our client is looking for Payroll Clerk to join their team. The company this year have doubled in size and are looking to expand their team. You will have keen eye for detail and be able to manage your own workload.
Under the supervision of the Payroll Manager you will have responsibility of the following:
  • Processing weekly payroll
  • General duties including filing, scanning, opening and sorting outgoing / incoming & internal mail.
  • Processing incoming cheques and BACS payments to the sales ledger to ensure that customer records are accurate.
  • Maintenance and housekeeping of the customer / supplier Master Files.
  • Maintain records in the time and attendance and payroll system for hourly paid, agency staff and salaried staff. Collect information via various sources for timely preparation of payroll.
  • Monitor sickness absence via T&A system ensuring relevant paperwork is received and instigate appropriate payments/deductions.
  • Process payroll, submit bacs payments and provide reports to the Finance Dept.
  • Any associated payroll admin as and when required.

My client is looking for someone that has recent payroll experience and who is therefore able to hit the ground running. Current knowledge of payroll related legislation is important, along with excellent communication skills and being IT literate.
