Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to cover maternity leave. The accounts clerk will join a professional and friendly finance team and support the Management Accountant with a wide variety of accounting processes. The remit will cover: Sales Ledger; Purchase Ledger including monthly reports; Bank reconciliations, postings, payments and intercompany transfers; Expenses; Intercompany reconciliations and ad hoc management accounting tasks.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced accounts assistant with strong purchase ledger experience and the desire to get involved in other aspects of management accounts. You should have strong Excel skills and be available to start a 12 month contract at relatively short notice. This is a salaried 12 month fixed term contract
