Robert Half are recruiting a Finance Manager in Central Swindon on a permanent basis. We are working with a leading organisation to recruit a qualified accountant with experience of budgeting and team management. This opportunity would suit someone with experience of managing a team and managing tight budgets.


This is a diverse role that would suit an experienced finance manager/controller with strong business partnering skills. The role will involve but not limited to:
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing the team's budget process.
  • Managing a budget of circa £500M.
  • Supervising a team of 3.
  • Reporting and analysis.
  • Reviewing financial processes and improving controls.


The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a public sector organisation or experience of managing restricted budgets and will ideally be ACCA/CIMA qualified (3= years PQE). Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you will be required to liaise with internal stakeholders to withdraw required information. Strong excel skills are essential and experience of using Oracle would be advantageous.


A leading organisation operating UK wide with excellent benefits including flexible working hours and a competitive pension. With strong transport links to Bristol, Reading and Cheltenham this role is also commutable from outside of Swindon by road and rail.

Salary & Benefits
  • £48,000-54,000
  • Competitive pension.
