We have an attractive opportunity for an experienced Marketing Communications Coordinator that can provide all round support across the full Marketing spectrum. You will be a confident multi-tasker who has the ability to manage a varied workload and multiple stakeholders to differing deadlines. Having previously worked previously in a business-to-business (B2B) commercial environment, you will relish the responsibility of creating and implementing marketing strategies to both attract and retain our customers.

About the role

Reporting to our Marketing Communications Manager, you will have exposure to projects which touch multiple elements of the marketing mix. Working with our partner agencies you will be involved from the creation of the initial brief through to production or implementation of communications in various formats, including for example, literature, events, exhibitions, e-comms, website content, newsletters and Point of Sale (POS). Other elements of the role include:
  • Constantly monitoring and reviewing competitor activity, understanding future trends and social responsibility activity. Developing new ideas and approaches.
  • Driving forward ideas based on best practice and research.
  • Implementation of new communications channels u
  • Supporting with the drafting of the Marketing Communications Strategy
  • Proofreading all marketing communication ahead of publishing
  • Analysing success of campaigns utilising data and metrics.
  • Ensuring spend in line with departmental budgets.

What will you bring?
  • Broad all round marketing experience having operated within a B2B commercial environment
  • Ability to write creative copy and complete comprehensive agency briefs within brand guidelines
  • Up to date digital marketing knowledge and experience
  • Experience of managing exhibitions, producing literature and managing omni-channel campaigns through entire life cycle.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all external stakeholders and employees at all levels and functions across the organisation.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships, to work using own initiative or as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic with a hands-on approach, keen to champion the customer across the business
  • Hold a related Marketing degree (or equivalent), desirable not essential.
