WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
To support the Global Outlet merchandising team to maximise trading performance and exceed Sales, profit and stock sell through targets through effective inventory management, forecasting and analysis.

  • Contribute to weekly trading reviews of sales, margin and stock against category KPIs to identify any issues and opportunities
  • Ownership of Outlet line cards for ordering and forecasting.
  • Work with the Allocators to control inventory levels, allocations and replenishment to Stores as required
  • Maintain and updating the WSSI to manage the intake and category stock position
  • Create markdown planning documents and collate proposals for review versus Financial targets
  • Create sizing and monthly sales forecast analysis to determine IAQs by store
  • Provide sizing analysis for future Outlet exclusive buys
  • Manage consolidations to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time to drive the highest sell through and maximise gross margin
  • Manage, co-ordinate and oversee global 3rd party deals by collating stock offers, managing time lines effectively and coordinating with all parties involved as necessary
  • Conduct detailed ad-hoc analysis as & when needed on specific product groups or stores
  • Build relationships with NA regional team and support as required, e.g. capacity, pricing, stock levels etc.
  • Manage and develop junior team members.
  • Develop current systems and processes that are in place and be instrumental in implementing best practices.
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED FOR THE ROLE?
  • Previous experience working in fashion retail merchandising and on multiple product categories
  • Able to demonstrate commercial aptitude and a pragmatic approach to working
  • Strong analytical/numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Good judgement and decision making skills
  • Strong organisational skills, able to use initiative, and be agile in a fast paced and ever changing environment.
  • Able to effectively communicate at all levels and in a professional manner.
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong ability to manipulate data and produce reports accurately and efficiently at ease.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills whilst able to prioritise workload accordingly. Ability to meet deadlines
