DMC Contracts Limited are seeking a proactive and hard working individual to join our accounts/buying team. The team are responsible for purchase and sales ledger, buying materials and equipment and organising our yard and associated deliveries. DMC are a successful and growing company who are prominent in the UK construction industry, having just completed seven of the Crossrail Stations in London and been awarded principal contractor status for Transport for London.

The right candidate will be involved with the following. They need not have prior experience in all areas and training will be provided:

• Processing purchase ledger invoices

• Supplier statement reconciliations

• Prepare and process monthly payment runs

• Analysing and challenging purchase ledger invoices

• Processing expense claims

• Receipting purchase orders with delivery tickets

• Processing of orders to invoice level

• Process and reconcile bank statements to finance system

• Investigating and resolving debit notes and queries

• Loading of approved new accounts on to sales ledger

• Notification of credit limits and account terms to customers

• Maintaining and updating customer data

• Account reconciliation

• Producing customer credit notes, statements & ad hoc invoices

• Providing copy documentation as required

• Scanning, filing and emailing of documentation as required

• Processing of customer orders to invoice level within agreed timescales

• Daily running and printing of invoices

• Filing, scanning, archiving and posting out of documentation

• Negotiating pricing arrangement

• Building strong relationships with suppliers

• Assisting the procurement team with related administration

• Data input

• Log and monitor the quotes and prices obtained from suppliers

• Assist estimating department with quotes and prices from suppliers

• Assist in taking incoming calls
