Headteacher Primary (7/04350)
Colvend, Kirkgunzeon & Palnackie Primary Schools
Combined Roll: 90
Salary: HT Scale Point 4 - £54,756

Colvend, Kirkgunzeon & Palnackie Primary Schools are situated in beautiful countryside. The schools are very much at the centre of their communities. The combined school roll is currently 90 pupils with all schools having two classes. The schools form part of the Dalbeattie High School cluster. The management structure consists of a Headteacher and a full time Principal Teacher in each school. The Headteacher position is non-class committed.

Colvend, Kirkgunzeon & Palnackie Primary Schools have strong links with Dalbeattie Learning Campus and the wider community. The schools are supported by warm and welcoming communities with active parent councils, who work collaboratively to support the pupils and staff. There are active fundraising groups who organise fund raising events. They support and enhance the learning provision for pupils. All of the schools engage in using the outdoors to promote the children's learning, taking the opportunity to utilise their local environments.
