We are currently hiring for an Engineering Manager within Financial Crime Threat Management (FCTM). FCTM is responsible for running a unified and global capability to identify, analyse, and investigate financial crime risk. This supports informed financial crime risk management by HSBC and effective information sharing with internal and external stakeholders (including government). The system is grounded in advanced analytics and technology. Key duties include: Managing project stakeholders, the delivery plan and competing priorities. Managing IT processes and controls (governance, privileged access, migration to GCP). Working with technical teams and deliveries (releases relying on output from multiple IT teams). Solutions include big data projects and microservices. Responsible for delivery from vendors. Managing project and service budgets. Qualifications To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: Demonstrable background of IT Project/Programme Management. Senior stakeholder management experience. Agile development, ideally delivered big data projects. Fluent and excellent communicator in English (any Polish or Mandarin language skills would be a benefit). Methodical and measured approach with a keen eye for attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in the face of adversity Help to drive change. Experience working in Financial Services or Financial Crime Risk would also be beneficial. The base location for this role is 8 Canada Square, London.
