POST: Quality Controller

Reporting to: QC Supervisors/ Senior Supervisors

Main Purpose of a Job: To ensure all Quality Control Standards and Systems are adhered to from Goods In through to Dispatch.

Shift: Monday - Friday 15.00pm - 00.30am (2x20 mins unpaid breaks) + Occasional Sunday shifts

Principal Accountabilities:

1 To carry out an inspection on the quality aspects of incoming products and recording findings.

2 To inform the management of problems or potential problems found at this inspection.

3 To carry out a patrol inspection service of production in the Packhouse ensuring that products meet the Customer Specification (quality, weight, packaging, label information).

4 To complete Q.C. records.

5 To work with the line leaders in order to provide a comprehensive service on quality liaison thus enabling economic production.

6 To collect samples for shelf life evaluation and complete the necessary records.

7 To maintain your work area in a tidy manner and file all documentation so as to make data easily retrievable.

8 To assist the management in any special projects that concerns the quality of products.

9 Any other duties as reasonably requested.

The job holder must ensure that all Health and Hygiene requirements are strictly observed and carried out
