Hampton People have been assigned to engage with Business Development Manager's to join an established business in Warrington.

Ideally candidates will come from a Powered Access equipment hire background, or if you have a strong sales background in their target markets - Electrical contractors, HVAC, Manufacturing.

The Business Development Manager will be primarily field-based and responsibilities surround generating new business in the North of England, mostly along the M62 corridor.

As Business Development Manager you will manage a portfolio and increase revenue from existing customer base, develop day-to-day relationships and ensure the delivery of service is outstanding.

Business Development Manager - Key Responsibilities

* Working closely with all members of the team to ensure an efficient service

* Proactively manage the existing client base and monitoring customer revenue

* Identify areas of opportunity for growth and additional revenue

* Being creative with ideas to gain increased revenue and productivity

* Maximise all opportunities for growth and additional revenue

* Managing and developing existing accounts through meetings/communication with key clients

* Building strong relationships and maintain regular contact with all customers, new and existing

* Generating a high level of client satisfaction through responsiveness to client needs

* Working flexibly, helping with reasonable ad hoc duties as required

* Confident and determined

* Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously and take responsibility

* Passionate, flexible, positive and impeccable attention to detail

Key Skills

* Proven track record in new business generation and account management is essential

* Competent problem-solving skills with an ability to suggest alternative solutions

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a good telephone manner

* Computer literate

* Up to £50k plus commission for the right person
