Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a market leading retailer based in West Yorkshire. They are the fastest growing company within their industry and have some great future growth plans in place too.

They are looking to add a Group Reporting Accountant to their Group function as soon as possible. They are looking for someone bright and ambitious, ideally from a practice background, or at least someone who can demonstrate a strong financial accounting background with a similar industry.

Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager, your responsibilities will include the following:-

- Preparing the group management accounts

- KPI reporting

- Confidently present group performance variances to the Senior Management Team

- Reconciliation of all inter-company balances

-Improve the current reporting processes across the group

-Assist with the preparation of the half and full year group financial statements and statutory accounts

-Developing and implementing new or revised policies and procedures

To be considered for this role you must have a strong technical accounting background and an impressive academic career to date. Ideally you will be an ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant with strong analytical and excel skills.

You must have thorough practical knowledge of IFRS and FRS101/102.
