Brewster Partners are delighted to be supporting St Luke's Hospice in Sheffield to recruit a Financial Controller to provide strong strategic leadership to the organisation.

This will suit a confident and skilled Finance Professional who can provide strong, visible strategic leadership to the Finance and IT Teams, as well as effective management and expert professional advice to ensure high quality, robust financial management across St Luke's and a small number of other charitable organisations.

You will lead an established multi-disciplinary team and have significant experience in developing departmental strategy whilst leading on the delivery of all aspects of finance.

You will have a rich and varied experience, working at a senior level in a commercial or charitable organisation along with proven skills in service development.

You will need to have experience of supporting an Executive Team to deliver our vision and strategic aims, and the ability to deliver complex information to internal and external stakeholders.


You will be an ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant with the drive to develop new services through your sound knowledge and influence, with the ability to work autonomously.

You will need to be experienced in analysing data and producing high quality reports, and be able to communicate and present information to colleagues, the Executive Team, the Trustee Board and external organisations.

You will have to be able to demonstrate a proven track record in leading and motivating teams, respond positively to a complex work environment and manage a broad portfolio of work.
