I am currently looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, to work for an award winning Manchester based company, who specialise in the Design, Manufacture and Installation within the HVAC sector.

They are already considered a market leader within the sector, but have exciting growth plans for the business, and are looking for ambitious, think outside the box people to join their growing team.

If you are from a HVAC manufacturing background and would like to work in a challenging position offering unrivalled future prospects, this could be the job for you.

Working closely with the head of engineering, you will work closely with the manufacturing and product design team, to ensure the business continues to stay one step ahead of the competition.

Their office is based near Manchester, so you will ideally be based in the Manchester/Yorkshire catchment area, or be prepared to relocate.

Day to day responsibilities:

* Management and leadership of the engineering team.

* Work closely with the Product development team on new products and strategies.

* Implement business strategy in line with the companies current and long term growth plans.

* Approval of engineering submission to tenders

* Support new product development

* Responsibility for the output and quality of the engineering team

* Continuous improvement, and promote a culture of health and safety

* Keep abreast of the latest technologies, particularly in relation to HVAC

* Engineering risk management, and compliance with relevant codes

* Forward planning for workload.

* Management and mentorship of staff.

Requirements for the position:

* HND/Degree qualified within Mechanical, Manufacturing or product design.

* A strong technical background within HVAC.

* Experience of HVAC within a high specification bespoke equipment design and manufacture.

* A knowledge of BIM would be beneficial.

* A strong knowledge of relevant industry codes.

* Experience within highly regulated industries would be advantageous.

* Knowledge of offsite manufacture would again be advantageous.

* Previous experience within a leadership capacity

* Motivated, ambitious and keen to progress within the business.
