Do you work for a large hotel group as a Group Revenue Director? Are you looking for a new challenge and to use your experience in a different sector? If so, I'm working on a newly created role which could be a great fit!

The role

In this newly-created role, you will work at both a strategic and tactical level, leading and guiding a revenue-driven culture within my clients market-leading business, whilst establishing the revenue management function at the core of their commercial strategy. As you would expect, you'll be working closely with the operations team nationally to ensure proper strategies are in place to optimise total revenues with a focus on pricing, mix management and inventory management strategies.

The person

My client has a strong culture based on valuing and engaging their teams at all levels - their head office is quirky with benefits including weekly yoga sessions, and they look for likeminded people at all levels to join them.

For this particular role, you'll need the following background/experience:

  • At least 3 years experience of working in a similar role at a similar level within the hotel industry
  • Able to set strategies and create and implement recommendations for translating strategy into tactics
  • Strong working knowledge of pricing, yield management systems and processes for all brands and segments
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good understand of Sales & Marketing functions

You will also need to have excellent communication skills, both numeric and written, be curious, innovative and adept at finding solutions to complex business problems, be customer and client focused, and demonstrate strong commercial acumen.

The benefits

This is a sub-board level role and as such attracts a salary of £100-120k plus exec package.
