Seven Education is looking for an Early Years Teacher to work as a temporary member of staff whilst covering maternity leave from September within an established and popular primary school in Doncaster.

The role:

Your vision is to lead the way in quality childcare and education using a more natural and authentic approach. You will achieve this by ensuring that all children in our setting feel happy, safe and secure while being nurtured to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the development and daily management of the teaching practice at the school
  • Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the school's policies and procedures
  • Ensuring a high standard of quality, safe, interesting and stimulating environment for children within group rooms
  • Key person for a designated group of children in addition to have an overall duty of care to all children within the school
  • To complete all required planning and record keeping in line with school's policies and procedures and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
  • Assessing, recording and reporting on the development progress and attainments of the children to the Headteacher.

Applicant Requirements:
  • Qualifications: A full and relevant Early Years Teaching qualification eg EYT or QTS with Early Years
  • Experience: Experience teaching within a private day nursery or primary school All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS Check
  • Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. QTS gained from an ITT programme.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 31.25 hours p/w.
