The Braintree secondary school are looking to meet with a Geography graduate who has considered a career within teaching for a long period of time but is looking to gain vital classroom experience before pursuing teacher training.

The appointed Geography Teaching Assistant will be joining the secondary school's humanities department on a full-time basis, supporting in KS3 and KS4 Geography lessons. The Teaching Assistant role will allow you to observe the experienced Teachers in the department and utilise your degree to its full potential as you support the students understanding of the curriculum in small group interventions.

The Geography Teaching Assistant will gain vital teaching experience to support their teacher training/PGCE application.

Requirements:
• MUST hold a degree - 2:2 or above
• A-C academics in Maths and English GCSEs
• Ambitious and ready to explore teaching the school's curriculum
