We have the role for you,

Here at Empowering Learning we are proving opportunities across the country. We have just taken a role supporting in a SEMH school which caters for students with emotional and social challenges and mental health.

They are looking for Educational Support Workers to support their pupils during the school day, mainly with behaviour and ensuring/promoting engagement.

The school look for passionate people in making a difference to a vulnerable young person's life, the small changes made during your contact time at school can be the vital difference.

Key skills and experience needed:

* Experience working in specialist schools such as SEN schools or Pupil Referral Units

* Previous support work within a school or other child related experience

* Strong behaviour management and confident with challenging behaviour

* SEN experience is essential

* One to one and small group work

* Professional manner

* Enthusiastic and friendly, yet firm approach
