Salary £ 16,984 - £18,814

The role

We are looking for strong, enthusiastic candidates to provide support and assistance to the Income Collection team Officers, based at Jubilee House, Coalville.

An Income Assistant's key objective is to maximise income for the organisation through the provision of a proactive, leading edge service to customers and staff.

The key duties and accountabilities will include assisting the Officers in the collection of rent for low level rent arrears and they will also be responsible for contacting new tenants.

Income Assistants will also be responsible for creating payment plans, balancing income maximisation with sustainable repayment arrangements and advising customers with all problems relating to their rent, service charge and other sundry debts, usually via phone calls or emails.

The ideal candidate

We are looking for candidates with some Income collection experience who is proactive and able to manage a high workload.We need strong individuals who are capable of managing priorities and work effectively.

In order to perform effectively in the role you must be able to demonstrate a positive approach and commitment to providing excellent customer service, have good IT skills and competent with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ideally Orchard Housing and be able to keep calm even when under pressure.
