Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Waltham Abbey

Type: Permanent, full time (Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 5:30pm)

Adecco Harlow are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant. Working for one of the country's most prestigious, top and award-winning house-builders. Based in a stunning and distinctive office in Hertfordshire. Our client has a modern and desirable work culture with employee's receiving excellent benefits, training and development opportunities.

The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts for various trading subsidiaries and joint ventures around the business.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Daily cash posting and reconciliation of all Group bank accounts
  • Prepare supporting information for business cashflow reporting purposes
  • VAT reconciliations and returns for all Group companies
  • Weekly cash reporting
  • Other ad-hoc duties as and when required

Person Specification: (skills, knowledge and experience required)
  • Currently studying for an appropriate professional accounting qualification
  • Good accounting knowledge
  • Previous experience of management accounts preparation
  • Good knowledge of construction VAT would be desirable
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc)
