Job Description:

Innovation1st are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team based in Richmond. Reporting to the CFO, this is a new role in response to the growth in the business and overall expansion in the Finance team.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of monthly Management Information and KPI analysis
  • Daily accounting support to all business departments
  • Preparation of Annual Financial Statements and Tax Returns
  • Meeting all regular reporting deadlines such as VAT, PAYE, Pension, Intrastat
  • Financial reporting to the Finance Director and Board
  • Management of the Finance Team
  • Reviewing and suggesting improvements to current processes
  • Supporting business operations through financial review, investigation and analysis
  • Maintaining the accounting process of a US subsidiary
  • Supporting ad hoc tasks within the business

The successful candidate will have:
  • Strong communication skills to support the advancement of the business
  • Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA desirable)
  • Evidence of post qualification experience in a finance role with management responsibilities
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Inter-personal skills to support the finance team's interaction with other departments
  • Ability to problem solve and control their own work flow
  • Past evidence of improving current and creating new processes
