TSR Legal have an exciting opportunity with a leading UK law firm based in Norwich who have a strong reputation for excellence. Our client is expanding and are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy team.

As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will be responsible for support in designated sites from instruction to completion and client liaison. You will be required to collate, check and send various documents, raise client enquiries and support in exchanging contracts.

The right candidate for this position will have around -2 years' experience in a similar role. Our client is looking for someone who is able to join their team and utilise their existing skill set and knowledge. You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills and be proficient at communicating with various stakeholders including, developers, solicitors, lenders, clients and colleagues. Duties include but are not limited to:

·Typing/Audio typing

·Client/ third-party liaison

·Providing quotes to prospective clients

·Opening files and proceeding with the initial stages of conveyancing transactions

·Ability to draft contracts on sale

·Complete Stamp Duty Land Tax form

·Land Registry application forms and searches

·Post-completion procedures

·File Closure

Essential Skills:

·Experience working as a conveyancing assistant

·Strong communication skills

·Ability to manage and prioritise own workload

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a diverse workload

·Ability to work in a team environment and share best practice with others

·Strong relationship building and client management skills

·Excellent IT Skills

·Strong team working ethic
