Location - London (Borough Market Base with travel to other locations)

Exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing Education Group as an IT Service Manager for a group of schools. The chosen candidate will be responsible for delivering, maintaining and supporting technology within this group of schools. This will also include managing the staff within the group and ensuring IT is support effectively across the board.

The role would involve managing a number of academies/schools across London (mostly South/South West) with travelling regularly to these locations being required.

Key Responsibilities

- Overall management responsibility for the IT Service's delivery, performance and staff across the group, maintaining a clear overview of the deployment, skill set, capability, capacity and development needs of the team.

- Responsible for operation management of IT Services

- Overseeing the provision of IT Systems and other critical systems used within the group of schools, liasing with third parties where needed.


- Experience within a similar IT Service based role - desirably within Education sector.

- A background within the Education industry

- Strong management experience of both teams and technologies

- Windows Server, VMWare/HyperV and Network knowledge/experience

- Extensive experience with IT Service and also service management systems. Alongside a background within support/troubleshooting.
