I am currently recruiting for my client based in Northwich. There is the need for a part time finance assistant to join the team, reporting directly to the Financial controller. This role will initially start off as a 6 month FTC with a full time equivalent salary of £19,000 - £20,000. This role will be ideally done over 5 days, 4 hours per day with flexibility on when the hours are done. This role will suit an experienced finance assistant or accounts assistant, who is looking for a friendly company and part time hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase ledger processing and VAT returns.
  • Raising sales ledger invoices.
  • Processing cash transactions in SAGE and onto the Bank.
  • Filing and archive management.
  • Assisting with preparing shareholder communications.
  • Maintenance of company registers.
  • Payroll processing
  • General office administration support


Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential:
  • Experience in a similar office based role
  • Book keeping experience
  • Good numeracy and communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Self-motivated


Desirable:
  • Previous experience of using SAGE payroll
