The Role

Working as a Paralegal within the Gatwick Employment team, you'll work with the team to handle a mixture of employment matters including day-to-day queries as well as acting in complex and high-value tribunal matters.

You will be ambitious and driven and work to build up your caseload over time as your experience within the team grows. Given the nature of the role, you will have strong attention to detail to ensure that you are confident drafting and negotiating simple commercial leases and agreements.

You will be an exceptional communicator with the ability to build excellent working relationships across the wider business as well as working with external institutions and organisations. You must be able to demonstrate an aptitude for client care ensuring that all client work is processed in a timely manner with the client kept up to date at all times.

Ideally you will be caring and approachable, enjoy team working and be prepared to contribute to best practice by sharing your ideas with the wider team. In order to develop yourself and others, you will be helpful and prepared to assist your team members as and when required.

Previous Employment law experience would be beneficial and an ability to organise your own workload despite changing priorities is essential. If you are looking to develop your legal skills within a fast-paced but supportive, professional environment, we would love to hear from you.
