About the role

As a Content Manager, you will work with the Digital Marketing Hub and regional branch to optimise and scale XTB's content marketing efforts to help drive new qualified leads and accounts, based on specific audience targeting via multiple online channels, as well as help lead the company's retention efforts through content. This is a key role for XTB. You will be the key driver of English language content creation and management for both the both the UK and International branch. As such, you will need to be an excellent copywriter and have a keen eye for content strategy.

You'll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that reacts quickly to financial and political drivers, and you'll learn how the markets work and how money flows. In addition to this, you will also work closely with the affiliate team to help create compelling content campaigns that help XTB generate maximum interested and promotion from its valuable partner relationships.

As such, you must be a hands-on individual, able to multi-task and have a broad spectrum of skills to suit most marketing functions. You should already have a solid grasp of the role content plays in the following channels; SEO, PPC, Display, Social Media and CRM as well as e-mail automation (via Hubspot predominantly).

You must have some experience in HTML, creating email templates and Landing pages as well as traditional CMS. Inbound marketing models and campaigns in social media (Facebook/Twitter) are also desired but not crucial skills for the role. A key tool you will be using to perform your tasks will be Hubspot, so working experience of this CRM system is preferred, as well as good understanding of Google Analytics.

As part of this role, it's important that you maintain strong relationships with not only the digital marketing hub but also the affiliate team and regional sales teams to grasp quickly the current client trends which will help you to identify campaign opportunities. These relationships will prove invaluable in helping you to drive content led campaigns that help the company reach its targets. At the same time, given the strict regulatory nature of the business, you must quickly grasp how to create compliance proof content and act as a guardian for the business on helping to ensure its content is compliant with the relevant regulatory rules.

Key responsibilities
  • To optimise in-bound marketing channels and automation efforts to help drive efficiencies across XTB's on-boarding and client activation rates
  • To ultimately be responsible for the content of XTB's website, landing pages and client email campaigns
  • To work closely with XTB's affiliate teams and HQ marketing hub to optimise and create campaigns that drive positive results
  • To own the Hubspot CRM system and manage the implementation of emails (dynamic and automation) and landing pages
  • To support in the implementation of XTB's business strategy across all content parts including digital and non-digital channels
  • To devise and maintain a communication calendar that maximises the groups event and client retention strategy
  • To maintain the groups Tone of Voice and Brand Guidelines across all content mediums in a consistent fashion, and act as a permanent guardian of this
  • To constantly look at ways we can optimise performance including but not limited to; bounce rate, landing page conversion, application form performance, email open/click rates, Facebook content activities and video content
  • To keep up to date with market activity so that XTB is always at the forefront of the market conditions

Qualifications & Competencies
  • A university degree, ideally in Marketing or a e-commerce related field
  • Hands on Marketing oriented person preferably with a previous track record within the financial sector/ banking/ FX with the ability to self motivate
  • Strong computer skills and coding ability including CRM, HTML, Microsoft Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Dynamic, innovative and a strong will to progress to management level
  • Ability to work on own initiative, expand and generate business
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure and in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both oral and written
