Data and Analytics Manager Job, Cardiff £37-£60k depending on experience.

you will be joining the B2B Marketing team a 21 strong multi discipline team in which your own team will fall.

Your new role
This is a newly created role for the department and has come about due to the need to best understand the effectiveness of their marketing, identify trends and patterns and to advise senior management and stakeholders in the most effect use of data.

to being with you will need to be able to find and recruit your own team and set up models and reports building from the ground up to meet the needs the B2B marketing team.
you will be required to meet with Senior Management and Stakeholders up to Director level in order to demonstrate the power of Data.

What you'll need to succeed
They are looking for someone with a passion for Data and analytics who can articulate the important's of its effective use to all levels of the business.

  • Manage, develop and motivate the team, ensuring appropriate knowledge transfer and training exists to ensure the production of robust, actionable customer analysis.
  • Develop and deploy segmentation, profiling and landscaping to understand customers and improve marketing, retention, engagement, conversion performance.
  • Utilise econometrics, propensity models and other techniques to measure and optimise campaign performance.
  • Identify knowledge gaps, manage and lead analysis projects to support business initiatives.
  • Develop the customer analysis routemap including the development of new techniques, tools and capability.
  • Working with senior stakeholders and local teams to build strong relationships and influence change.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with external suppliers to ensure that the work completed is cost effective and relevant.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to devise new ways to improve campaign performance including model deployment.
  • Provide expertise / consultancy on the uses of analysis and insight to drive more effective sales and marketing performance.
  • Ensure that the team stores all data in a compliant manner with L&G's data storage policy and that the data is transferred in a secure manner in accordance with L&G's policy and the data protection act.
