We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established company, that is at the forefront of developing clinical software throughout the UK.

The company lead the way with an electronic patient record sharing system across different health care environments and are always looking for new like-minded individuals, to become a part of their already successful team.

Our client is currently looking for a Systems Integration Engineer, to become the newest member of their proactive and innovate team.

The position is office based at our clients Bodmin campus nestled within the glorious Cornish countryside.

Job Outline
* To be the main technical resource for the company's integration of 3rd party application providers and working along side DevOps team to sustain the integration environments which these providers use.
* Understanding the exact requirements of each individual agreement
* Negotiating with 3rd party organisations/partners, to achieve the optimum outcome and creating/maintaining strong working relations with the orgnisations & partners.
* To have the ability to handle and prioritise multiple projects without impacting deadlines, demonstrating a logical structured approach to time management and task prioritisation.
* Writing shell, Power Shell or Batch scripts
* Ability to code in PHP,C#, JS or CPP
* Communicate with all levels of management including the board
* Providing feedback internally for product and service enhancements

Technical & Personal Specification
* Experience of general cloud technologies such as; Kubernetes/OpenShift, KVM/OpenStack, Ansible & Consul
* Technical skills in; Python, GO, Java, Ruby, LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) JSON, ZFS filesystem
* Working knowledge Cloud Visibility technologies such as; Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus & Graphana
* Around 3 years of commercial experience in configuring and networking with Linux
* Excellent knowledge of programming languages, preferably PHP and/or C/C++ as well as thorough knowledge of HTML and CSS
* Security technologies such as; ClamAV, Nessus & Vault
* As well as CI pipeline technologies such as; Blue Ocean, Jenkins, Spcewalk, GITlab, NuGet & SonarQube
* Experience of data centre alerting and monitoring
* Strong ability to troubleshoot a variety of performance issues
* Understanding of the setting of creating monitors, setting thresholds and sending notifications
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network problems
* Familiarity of SNMP and have an understanding of how to use snmpget and snmpwalk.
* Experience managing and mitigating common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVE)
* General understanding and experience with of enterprise availability, management service and methodologies such BCDR, Capacity & configuration management.
* Good written and verbal communication
* Excellent organisational and self-management skills
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work to tight deadlines
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Enthusiasm to absorb and learn new information
* Commercial awareness specifically in the public sector would be preferred
