As one of the UK largest FMCG manufacturers this is a fantastic opportunity with excellent benefits to join the team as an engineering shift manager. As an engineering team leader you will be contracted to work on permanent day shift looking after 3 engineers.

Your New Job

As an engineering shift manager you will be tasked with the following, you'll be responsible for maintenance and engineering activities in a FMCG process. Maintenance and fault finding on all production equipment. Maintenances on process and tank farm equipment. Installation, maintenance and improving Engineering systems. Defining, specifying and delivering improvement projects on time and in full. Developing a CMMS by optimising planned preventative maintenance and condition based monitoring systems. Responsible for effective RCA and implementing robust countermeasures for engineering, maintenance and production losses. Responsible for technical and engineering designs to meet safety, quality, cost and delivery targets. Supporting the creation and development of departmental systems to World Class Manufacturing standards. Support and create initiatives to apply a TPM/WCM strategy. Involvement in continuous improvement projects in both engineering and production. Responsible for the robust restoration to standard of key process and production equipment and to identify and implement control measures to maintain assets to a reliable condition. Ensuring all process and production assets are maintained and that PPM schedules are completed to ensure system and machine performance are optimised.

Your Experience and Requirements

Quantica are searching for candidates that are traditional time served engineers with either and electrical or mechanical bias preferably within an FMCG environment, experience with PLC fault finding and controls is desirable.
