Continued growth means this established business requires a Management Accountant to join the head office team on the east side of Norwich.

Responsible for delivery of accurate, reliable and timely management information to assist the company to make correct and informed decisions to achieve its business strategies. To accurately maintain, process, monitor and control all transactions involved in the reporting system. To provide information and support to staff.

The main tasks of the role are outlined as:-
  • Preparation of financial management information for internal and external use.
  • Maintenance of accurate bank records, including daily reconciliations.
  • Preparation of VAT and other required statutory returns.
  • Checking and reporting of daily sales analysis.
  • Processing of intercompany transactions, including purchases and sales
  • Maintenance of fixed asset registers and processing depreciation
  • Calculation and posting of periodic prepayments and accruals.
  • Authorisation of bank transactions.
  • Processing of periodic sales invoicing, ensuring accuracy of content and timely delivery.
  • Collation of credit card receipts, posting and accurate processing of all transactions.
  • Maintenance and audit of supplier/buying group rebate schedules.

Candidates will ideally be part of fully qualified, or have strong previous experience in a robust environment. Good IT Skills including, Sage, Excel and Word. Proactive working with colleagues throughout the business. Keen to see that accounts adds value to the business.
