Part time - 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - start date 3rd June

Your new company
A high achieving school, within the Bury Area. The school ranges from 3-16, you will be working within the secondary school.

Your new role
You will be working as a Teaching Assistant on a 1:1 basis. Supporting a student with a visual impairment. The role starts on the 4th June. It is a part time position working 15 hours per week across 5 days. The hours are as follows:
Week 1 Mon- 10am - 1pm Tue - 11am - 1pm Wed - 2pm - 4pm Thu- 9am - 11am Fri - 10am - 12 noon Week 2 Mon - 11 - 1pm Tue - 10 - 1pm Wed - 11 - 1pm Thu - 9 - 12 noon Fri - not needed

What you'll need to succeed
  • You should have a minimum of 40 days experience working with children within the last 2 years.
  • You should have relevant experience of working alongside people with a diagnosis of Autism, emotional and social disorders and understand the ways in which to best support these diagnosis.
  • You will need to have a DBS (if you don't currently hold one on the Update Service, we can process this for you).
