£22,000 - £25,000 depending on experience

Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 5.15pm Friday 8.45am - 4pm

Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to join my client's busy office, based in Altham.

This position offers varied and interesting work with an attractive salary package for the right candidate dependent upon age, skills and experience.

Experience in Sage is essential & the candidate must also be fully proficient in Microsoft Excel.

The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills and be diligent with a high level of accuracy.

You will be working alongside the Finance Manager to ensure smooth running of the Finance Department.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sage - Responsible for maintaining accounts function on a day to day basis including on-line banking and both Sales & Purchase Ledger.
  • Credit Control - Responsible for all aspects of credit control to ensure all debtor payments are received in accordance with company payment terms. Excellent communication skills required.
  • Excel - Preparation and upkeep of spreadsheets so advanced knowledge preferable.
  • Computer Skills - Alongside the usual Microsoft packages, we also have a bespoke in-house data system. Full training will be given on this, but the successful candidate must be able to understand and navigate computer systems.
  • General Tasks - Answering telephone, general office duties. Any other duties or projects as required by management
