Finance Assistant


Part Time, 33.75 hours

As part of the Accounts team, you will be responsible for raising invoices and sending out remittances, processing payments face to face and over the telephone. Some credit control tasks; including chasing up outstanding payments. Processing and updating key information within our different systems that is essential for invoicing. Answer/ resolve queries from other departments within the hospital and insurance companies.

Update/ manipulate spreadsheets for invoicing, fees and payments etc. Cash Banking and allocate payments.

Good excel skills is desirable and previous finance/ data entry experience is essential.

Responsibilities of a Finance Assistant;

* To ensure timely and accurate invoicing in line with agreements

* To ensure all billing is accurate and carried out in a timely manner

* To monitor and investigate unbilled charges to maintain them within agreed limits

* To capture all revenue through liaising with other departments

* To liaise with insurer and third parties regarding debts to ensure prompt payments
