Maintenance Technician

A leading manufacturing company are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance operations for all process, plant and buildings at their site in Alfreton. As the Maintenance Technician you will ideally be electrically trained, have knowledge of PLC's and hold hands on experience maintaining plant and machinery.

This role operates from Mon - Fri normal working hours.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of all maintenance operations for all process, plant and buildings.

* Liaising among different departments eg. Managers, suppliers, customers.

* Responsible for compliance to all the safe system of work procedures.

* Manage and prioritize workload in line with the CMMS system.

* Ensure all planned and reactive maintenance task are completed with set timescales.

* To comply with the company's safety culture.

* Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed including Environmental impacts.

* Support and develop engineering apprentices.

* To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Experience Required:

* Completed Apprenticeship/Traineeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

* Hands on maintenance experience.

* Computer literate.

* Working knowledge of a CMMS system

* Working knowledge of PLC's

Role: Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Permanent, Monday - Friday

Package: £28k - £33k 8%/6% Pension, Life assurance, 25 days holiday, private healthcare
