The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager who is responsible for our Service Support team and be an integral part of a well-established and respected IT Services Company that has major clients based in both the UK and Continental Europe.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and capable of owning the delivery of Services by the Service Support team within a fast-paced environment to approx. 270 personnel. You will have a strong sense of ownership and take personal pride in providing an excellent service from yourself and your team. A great communicator you will build collaborative relationships across the company and with key suppliers to ensure Compliance is a key enabler for this successful and growing business.

The Role

You will have overall responsibility for the Business Management Systems (including ISO9001, 27001), delivering, developing and managing Compliance including management systems and processes that will support the business ensuring a consistent and compliant delivery model. In addition, take the lead in other key governance and compliance projects including PCI/DSS, data protection, GDPR and Risk. Also, you will have overall responsibility for the Service Support function (Quality, Facilities, Fleet and Health and Safety)

You will be able to communicate effectively at all levels, produce high level documentation and effect real change across the business. As part of your role you will audit business processes and be confident in advising the appropriate manager as required on changes to be made and how they can improve to ensure compliance, offering advice and guidance to meet such.

You will have extensive experience across different ISO standards and bring experience of auditing and implementing such along with an ability to acquire skills if needed in a range of other governance and compliance related projects, either as a subject matter expert or leading teams with the pre-requisite skills or identifying partners to leverage such.

We are seeking someone with strong people and team player skills who is responsible for the strategy whilst being hands on and developing a friendly and collaborative team.

You will naturally be passionate about continuous improvement, governance and compliance, constantly looking for ways to improve processes and drive efficiencies.


·Overall responsibility for compliance across the business with continued accreditation

·Overall responsibility for Service Support and its functions

·Business Process Review, Design, and improvement to meet standard compliance and governance requirements and those needed to support continued growth and expansion

·Ownership of ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, PCI/DSS, GDPR and related projects

·To develop and manage robust compliance management systems and processes that will support the activities of the business and to audit such, assisting business stakeholders in achieving compliance

·Ability to work and engage at Senior Management team level both internally and with customers externally


·Extensive experience within the Compliance field

·Have previous experience of setting and delivering Compliance strategy

·Demonstrable experience of implementing ISO standards

·Ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels to educate, manage and ensure compliance

·Internal Auditing experience

·Able to produce high-quality, highly-accurate documentation

·Pro-active and hard-working team player
