OnBuy.com is a fast-growing online marketplace, offering millions of products for sale from thousands of sellers. We are seeking a friendly, empathetic and communicative candidate ready to join our young and motivated team as a content writer and customer service manager. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person.

As a content writer and customer service manager, you will be responsible for creating compelling web copy, answering customer enquiries, identifying and reporting recurring issues to improve the customer experience.

You will be confident in working both independently and as part of our expert team of salespeople, web developers, content writers, account managers and our support team, directly for our Head of Communications.

The content writer responsibilities will include:

· Creating clear, well-written content for product, category and brand pages

· Regularly producing compelling and topical blog posts

· Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practice to increase web traffic

· Handling additional content tasks

The customer service responsibilities will include:

· Responding to customer messages and answering their enquiries

· Creating and regularly reviewing customer literature

· Identifying recurring issues with sellers, monitoring their performance metrics and liaising with the relevant teams to provide solutions

· Preventing recurring issues by improving processes

· Updating and adding to customer guides and FAQ's

· Managing OnBuy's Trustpilot account by responding to positive reviews and resolving negative reviews

· Handling additional tasks where relevant

To succeed in this role, previous experience in content writing is essential and experience in e-commerce customer service is preferred but not essential - we will provide training. You must have excellent writing skills, the ability to proofread and edit your work, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

Could you be an integral part of our team to drive our business forward? If so, we want to hear from you! In return, we will offer you a rewarding salary, a fantastic working environment and the opportunity to progress in one of the fastest growing companies in Dorset.
Please note that we are unfortunately unable to respond to all applicants.
